Tadao ANDO - acting for Japan

Since the 1995 Hanshin-Awaji Daishinsai (known as the Great Kobe Earthquake), the renowned Japanese architect Tadao Ando has been a member of the Reconstruction Committee for redeveloping urban areas. He has actively canalised his energies into fund-raising activities, as he is today, writing about, talking about, and working on reviving the affected regions in the Great East Japan.
